Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner Office will support the 2018 Fusion Community Group of the Year Award.
The 2018 ceremony will take place in the Concert Hall at King George’s Hall, Blackburn on Saturday, July 7.
The awards attract audiences from different towns and cities in the region, as well as people from all backgrounds, cultures and religions. This year we honour charitable projects that have assisted people across the world as well as locally.
Clive Grunshaw, Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner said: "I'm pleased to sponsor the Community Group of the Year award which recognises the key role local groups play, day in, day out to help people across the county.
"I really value the work done by these type of organisations which is why I support residents and volunteers through grants such as my Community Action Fund, who make a real difference in Lancashire helping deliver projects that reduce crime and keep areas safe.
"I'm looking forward to hearing all the stories about the positive impact that these groups are having in our neighbourhoods, and their role in developing safe and confident communities across Lancashire, which is a key priority in my police and crime plan."
