Police said three people have been arrested on suspicion of affray following a dispute about property.

On Tuesday night (May 7) Burnley Road in Blackburn was closed by officers investigating an incident. Police have said they were called to Thornley Avenue, at 7.19pm to reports of ‘a dispute about property’.

A police spokesperson said: “Three men were arrested on suspicion of affray. Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-01, quoting log 1371 of 7 May 2024.”

Burnley Road from the Whitebirk roundabout to Carl Fogarty Way was shut for around an hour.
