Families from across Lancashire attended the largest open-air Eid prayers event in the region.
The festival of Eid is being celebrated today (Friday) and Saturday and marks the end of Ramadan.
The bi-annual event has become a permanent fixture in the Eid calendar and attracts people from across the borough and beyond.
The good weather held out for the mroning prayers which took place at around 10am in front of the conservatory at Corporation Park in Blackburn. The event is attended by men, women and children and is organised by a team of volunteers. It is funded purely by donations.
Although organisers had covered the grass, people were still encouraged to bring their own prayer mats.

This year Eid is being celebrated over two days with some Muslims hosting Eid prayers on Saturday. However, the open-air event only takes place on one day.
Organisers will be back at the location a weeks time for the Eid in Park festival event which this year will include the Halal Food Festival. Visitors can expect an array of delicacies and foods from across the borough.
The event will also feature a funfair and a host of activities for families and will run from midday till 6pm on both Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30.
Elsewhere, on Thursday night the surprise announcement that Eid would be Friday led to long queues along Whalley Range as shoppers descended upon the business district for some last-minute shopping.
