Turkish superstar Burak Ozcivit was swamped by fans as he launched his designer fragrance.

Ozcivit was welcomed to a packed MyLahore Glass Marquee at the Stanley House Hotel in Mellor on Saturday. He was in town as part of a two-day launch of his signature scent, ‘Ruler - J. by Janan Fragrances.’ On Sunday Ozcivit was in Manchester for the second leg of the tour.

Ozcivit, is renowned for his role in the historical series ‘Kurulus Osman’ portraying the life of Osman Ghazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

The series is viewed by millions in south Asia, central Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

At Stanley House lucky guests were offered a meet and greet opportunity before he made a grand entrance into the venue to huge cheers.

During dinner itself one of the handful of guests who got the chance to speak and meet Ozcivit, was Adil Hussain of Blackburn. Twenty-year-old Adil was joined by his siblings as they spent time with Ozcivit chatting about his roles.

Adil is a big fan of the series and has watched all the episodes and was said to be ‘overjoyed’ to have met Ozcivit in person.

Speaking on the day Ozcivit said he was ‘delighted’ for the welcome and also answered questions from some of his fans.

The event was hosted by Pakistani actor, producer and model Adnan Siddiqui and held in collaboration with Janan and MyLahore.

Kaka Events designed the décor and produced the show.

The One Nation charity raised thousands for their emergency appeals on the night. Nasheed artist (Islamic songs), Hamzah Khan opened the event which also featured a Qawwali band.

Ozcivit has amassed a huge online social media presence with 25 million following him on Instagram alone and was joined at the dinner by Lancashire TikTok stars Shabaz Says and Maz.
