YOUNG Bolton boxer Osman Aslam is set to return to the ring this month as he looks to make more progress in 2016.
The 22-year-old super bantamweight joined the professional ranks just over a year ago and extended his unbeaten record to three fights with a points victory over Yorkshireman Craig Derbyshire in February.
Now he is set for a return to home soil at the Whites Hotel at the Macron Stadium on Saturday, April 23.
No opponent has been confirmed but the Halliwell youngster, who is managed by Asif Vali – who also looks after heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury – and trained by respected Bolton coach Alex Matvienko from Halliwell's Elite Boxing gym, is tipped to extend his winning run.
Tickets are priced £40 for the bill with ringside seats £75 and the show begins at 5.30pm.
