India captain Virat Kohli insists the players now have enough experience to be winning and he will not accept them going into matches looking to learn more about themselves and the game.

The side have not registered a victory in seven matches, dating back to their 95-run triumph over England at Lord's in July.

They are expected to end that sequence in the one-off Test against Bangladesh at Fatullah's Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium, which starts on Wednesday, and Kohli is keen for that to be the start of a turnaround in results.

"I think we have learned a lot. I don't really think we have to play with the mindset of wanting to keep learning all the time," said the 26-year-old, who took over the captaincy midway through the four-Test series in Australia they lost 2-0 around the turn of the year.

"We have played enough Test matches that we start executing our skills and getting results our way.

"We need to have the vision and focus to actually win Test matches and not just play with the mindset of learning with every game.

"You can learn about the game everyday watching on TV as well. We have been playing it for long enough now.

"Unless we want to have a vision of winning Test matches and executing our skills against the best in the world, we are falling short of the goal we want to achieve."

Captaincy has reflected well on Kohli so far as he heads into this game looking to be the first skipper to score four hundreds in his first three matches in charge.

Bangladesh's bowling coach Heath Streak admits they are unlikely to load the line-up with seamers at a venue which does not favour pacemen despite Rubel Hossain's return from injury.

"We are unlikely to go with a three-seam attack in this wicket," he told www.cricinfo.com.

"We are probably looking at two but it is up to the coach and selectors, once they have a better look at the wicket as we get closer to the game.

"Normally wickets here are quite tough for the fast bowlers so it requires a lot of patience.

"Obviously it is nice to have Rubel back in the equation - he has been in good form prior to his injury.

"Mohammad Shahid for us is that dependability. He is not an easy guy for batsmen to get on top of.

"Hopefully he can be that anchor role for us, with the volume of overs with one or two of the spinners and let the other seamer have an attacking option."
