Members of the Asian Business community came together in a celebration of their success.
The fifth annual English Asian Business Awards took place on Friday September 16, where the winners were revealed at the glamorous ceremony in the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.
The black tie event acknowledged the accomplishments, determination and hard work of professionals and organisations from the Asian business community across England.
Yasmin Mahmood of event organisers, Oceanic Consulting said,“Every year the list of nominations for the English Asian Business Awards continues to show examples of innovation and business acumen that surpass the last, and this year was no exception. There were nineteen sought after accolades awarded on the evening and the winners are:
Young Achiever of the Year went to Arminder Singh Dhillon (The Boot Buddy Ltd, London).
Rising Star Award went to Ruchir Gupta (Bla Bla Cars, London).
The Community Award went to Guru Nanak Nam Ladies (Birmingham).
Retail Business of the Year went to Nafees Bakers Ltd (Bradford).
Online Business of the Year went to Brightlet.com (Birmingham).
Best Professional in Business went to Sameera Ali (ASR Legal Solicitor).
Convenience Retailer of the Year went to Londis Lane End (High Wycombe).
Wholesaler of the Year went to Khanjra International Foods (Blackburn).
New Business of the Year went to Saleha Bagas (Bolton).
Family Run Business went to CK Foods (Hull).
Businesswoman of the Year went to Henna Riaz (360 Audit, Manchester).
Business of the Year went to Shazan Food Ltd (Preston).
