A Preston based Islamic wear brand sold over 200,000 outfits globally during Ramadan alone.
Lawung which was set-up in 2000 is now available across the world in 25 countries including showrooms in Japan and China.
Set-up by Faizal Atcha it is now one of the biggest names in Men’s Islamic Fashion with dedicated franchises in 12 nations. As well as brands for men the company has a range of Islamic wear for children and women.
The British company even sells Islamic wear to Middle Eastern nations and due to customer demand they have launched a new brand Al Ameer.
A spokesperson for the company told us the run up to the Eid Festival was the busiest time of year for the firm.
“We were completely sold out on some ranges two weeks before Ramadan even commenced,
“We have distributed almost 210,000 pieces globally this Ramadan and you will be able to locate one at your local retailer. There are almost 35 designs to choose from”.
