Police have released images after about £15,000 worth of jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Plumstead.

On Friday, November 13 a number of items of distinctive Asian jewellery were stolen in Warland Road.

Officers believe the burglary took place between 8pm and midnight.

The stolen Asian gold includes necklaces, rings and bracelets.

Three images released by police show a necklace with rubies and diamonds in a 'star fish' shape, together with a gold necklace with black beads and a pendant attached; multiple white gold and silver bangles encrusted with diamonds and ruby stones; multiple silver and white gold bangles encrusted with diamond. 

Four mobile phones were also stolen, including one Nokia and one Apple handset.

Detective Constable Brad Euston, from the Greenwich burglary squad, said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in and around Warland Road on Friday, November 13.

"Anyone with information should contact us in the strictest confidence."
