Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stars in the harrowing tale of a farmer held captive for decades after mistakenly crossing the India and Pakistan border.
Sarbji is said to be the true life story of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who inadvertently crossed the India border into Pakistan, subsequently arrested, jailed and put on death row.

The film features an ensemble of acclaimed artists including Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda.
It also stars Darshan Kumaar in a supporting role.
The story depicts a 23-year period, which Dalbir Kaur (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) endured trying to secure her brother’s release from imprisonment.
Sarbjit is out on May 19.
